Stansberry Research LLC is a subscription based company based in Baltimore, Maryland and founded in the year 1999. Stansberry Research main aim is publishing of financial information and software updates that are mainly targeted to assist portfolio managers and individuals managing their own portfolios.
There have been several publications on financial and economic news on metals such as gold and copper as well as U.S. stocks as well as offering opinions on whether to buy or short stocks based on market forecast.
Over time, Stansberry Research has offered multiple opportunities to investors by giving profitable investment strategies that have paid off in the short run and long run as well. This has led to increase in consumers of its publications (Thedailyrecord). Stansberry Research’s affordable subscription plans have greatly contributed to its more than 350,000 subscribers in more than 100 countries currently.
According to a recent publication by Stansberry Research, there has been surmounting pressure on the Bank of Japan’s Governor Haruhiko Kuroda to follow the lead of the Federal Reserve and European Central Bank to normalize the interest rates. This is in exact opposition to the strategy employed in an attempt to reach the targeted inflation rate of 2% by greatly cutting back on interest rates and increasing emphasis of quantitative easing strategies. The continued approach to inflation targeting using the current methods will lead to an eventual deflation; a scenario Haruhiko would like to greatly avoid.
This has not been made easier as it has become evident that the U.S. President Donald Trump announced the introduction of tariffs on steel and aluminum imports into the U.S. of 25% and 10% respectively. This is a serious issue because the steel and aluminum industry have seen an enormous shed of jobs since 1953 of 80% and an increased inclination towards outsourcing. This will therefore mean the prices of commodities such as canned food and beer will increase in order for the manufacturers to push the cost down to the consumers; that is an unnecessary tax hike to the American people.
In reciprocate; the European Union will impose a similar tariff on all U.S. consumer goods, a move that will be backed up by China pulling off a similar retaliatory tactic. Hence the looming trade war.
One of the most precious resources in the world is the wilderness. None the less, this resource is also the most endangered. Aspects like droughts, fires, and intense storms pose significant threats to the wilderness. For these reasons, the need to protect the wilderness is one of great importance. In the process of protecting or managing the wilderness or instead, forestry, it is important to note that every single wilderness is diverse from the other. The differences are brought about by the forestry in the area, the wildlife population in the wilderness, and the commercial and recreational use of the area and all that it has to offer. The density of the wilderness and location is also a significant factor when determining the differences between these wilderness areas.
Visionary forestry experts like Ara Chackerian have put their best foot forward in the process of helping the society manage and preserve the wilderness. Through the use of scientific techniques, Ara Chackerian and a group of forestry experts are coming up with the most effective management strategies. Through extensive research, they have come up with ways to conserve and extend the lifespan of the wildlife population which is a crucial part of the wilderness. They do so by minimizing disease spreads and attacks on the animals and proliferation of the animals. Ara Chackerian has been looking into ways to generate revenue to maintain the scientific work towards the preservation of the world’s number one resource.
Who is Ara Chackerian?
Ara is a holder of a marketing and business management degree from the State University of Florida. Ara Chackerian has spent a most of his career life working in the health sector. He is the founder of BMC diagnostics which he also served in an executive position until it was acquired in 2007 by Health Diagnostics. After its acquisition, Ara worked for Health Diagnostics as the Executive Vice President of the research and development department. He also founded Embion which is now known as Provider Links.

Charity is held in high regard. Yes, the value of charity transcends cultures, religions, socioeconomic boundaries, and the world over. People all over recognize and appreciate the social utility in helping one another. A famous Jewish proverb says, “Deeds of giving are the very foundations of the world.” Similarly, Muhammed said circa 620 CE that “A man’s true wealth is the good he does in this world.” Aristotle, widely studied philosopher born 384 BC who is known as the “first teacher”, likewise taught that, “the essence of life is to serve others and do good” and Jeff Schneider, CEO and father, seeks to reflect to do the same in his own life. The famous, American businessman and car manufacturer, Henry Ford is documented saying, “The highest use of capital is not to make more money but to make money do more for the betterment of life.” It’s apparent that humans hold charity in high regard, but how many humans are actually acting on that notion? Jeff Schneider is.
According to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, “The volunteer rate declined by 0.4 percentage point to 24.9 percent for the year ending in September 2015.” Most people in the United States complete a majority of their community service in life for a high school or college requirement. After reaching the designated number of hours, people quit and go back to living their lives as they did before, but this is where Jeffry Schneider stands out in a crowd. He’s outstanding as he didn’t quit volunteering after it stopped being required of him. He integrated it into his routine and specifically continues to make time for it without having to. He volunteers his time at all kinds of charities including Austin Pets Alive!, the Gazelle Foundation, and LifeWorks.
Jeffry Schneider seeks out a variety of unconventional ways to give back and contribute to the bettering of the community. He tries to find fun and creative ways to contribute to society as a means of spiritual growth, happiness, and personal development. Mark Twain is quoted saying, “The best way to cheer yourself is to try to cheer somebody else up” which Jeff identifies with on a deep, personal level as Jeff Schneider’s mission is all about helping others. He volunteers his time at all kinds of charities including Wonders and Worries, the Gazelle Foundation, and the Cherokee Home for Children. He hopes that by doing so he improves the lives others while inspiring them to contribute to humanitarian efforts.
Recode recently did an article on The RealReal getting investments before obtaining an IPO.
The RealReal’s CEO is Julie Wainwright
The company The RealReal has made 170 million in 7 years. It has potential to make more and is interested in investors to target a brick and mortar store which is in the works now.
Wainwright is pitching investors for a 100 million. It is speculated by recode that the new investments might be due to the new attitude in second hand high fashion luxury clothing, jewelry, art and home decor is changing to a more positive one as in the recent past. The investors might see the potential for sales in this market as something new and up and coming. The fashion industry is on both sides and retail sales are always trending and no need to rethink investing in Gucci or Louis Vuitton. But what about these companies that want to sell those brands secondhand? Those brands as stated before like the idea now because they have seen repeat customers to their home brand as well as the second hand business that are trending now as well. Wainwright does all she can to build a reputation for quality and they will collaborate with the companies to get repeat customers. Wainwright makes sure to authenticate the luxury items before they are listed on the website. Previously, it was thought that companies that sell secondhand luxury items were the enemy but that is not so evident anymore. There have been a handful of other companies who have tried to sell secondhand luxury clothing and items, but some have sold out or are no longer in business. The brand companies like to see sellers wanting more of their products and this type of purchase power allows the buyer to try the item at a lesser cost and eventually want to replace it or buy new product.”
People have been accused of their diminishing empathy causing scientists to look for a way to manage the situation. Using brain scans and traditional biofeedback techniques, scientists have managed to increase individual’s feelings of responsiveness and affection. This can be helpful to the treatment of people with mild autism, postpartum depression or even complete psychopaths. According to Jorge Moll, the Director of the Cognitive and Behavioral Neuroscience Unit at IDOR in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the study of complex emotions linked up to empathy in the brain is the first one.
Study of Altruism
Though the idea is not wholly new, they are aiming at emotions that lead to altruism, making up for mistakes, and the quest to be better persons. Jorge and his team are mapping these emotions and training people in them. Jorge Moll explained that societal cohesion is tied to the “empathy box” saying just like Android, technological advances in computer science and neuroscience have made it possible.
Using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and a brain scanner, real-time brain activity could be measured when people thought about tender times. Also, people were asked to recall a moment when they felt pleased following something good that they did as well as think neural thoughts. The study showed that people voluntarily improve their brain signatures of affection and tenderness making possible to come up with new ways of endorsing pro-social emotions while minimizing antisocial behavior. With fine tuning, Jorge Moll hopes they can help people get a hold of their anger and violent emotions. The research provides resourceful insight on dealing with a condition such as antisocial personality disorder, autism, and other unwanted feelings.
